California Journalism Job Bank

A service of the California Society of Newspaper Editors

The California Journalism Job bank has been online since May 1995 as part of the web site project for the California Society of Newspaper Editors (CSNE). The program was designed to give editors an extended reach in their search for new staff and a broader number of applicants for newsrooms positions. It was also designed to help journalists by providing an easily accessible resource for jobs.

The Job Bank has grown beyond our greatest expectations and continues to grow in popularity and participation. Today, the Job Bank receives thousands of visits per day. Editors from weeklies and small community papers to large metro dailies have used the Job Bank with great success.

The Job Bank has proven to be a valuable tool, not only for California newspapers, but for other publications and journalists worldwide. CSNE is delighted to have your participation in the Job Bank and welcomes your comments and suggestions. For more information contact Becky Day at CSNE (510) 764-1110 or e-mail: beckyday@csne.org
